MINUTES

The minutes from the last meeting in September 2006 were reviewed.

OLD BUSINESS

EQUIPMENT UPDATE

The tumblestrip track is here and has been installed.

WEBSITE UPDATE

The website is up and running.  Mail to June Shaw any suggestions.

DECEMBER PERFORMANCE NIGHT

The show is scheduled for Wednesday, December 20, at 7:00, with visitors being family and relatives.

TEAM PHOTOS

Sherri is calling Pam at Photo Expose and getting their prices.  We want to take the photos in January.  We want action photos.  Eathan’s is another possibility.

NCAA REGIONALS AT D.U.

Tickets will be available in January, and we would like to go as a group.

TEAM REP/EAGLES LEVEL 4

We are waiting for the next meeting.  Ginny will be calling Terri Adams to see if she can help Donna, and looking for a team rep for optionals.  The team reps are as follows:

Optionals: Brownie Flesche

Compulsary: Lisa Staton

Boys: Bozzie Stodgehill & Anne Meier

EAGLES Optionals: Donna Rose

Still need another EAGLES Optionals  and an EAGLES Compulsory

NEW BUSINESS

SKILL-A-THON

We want to do this the first of February, and will be offering incentives for most pledges, like gift card either personal or on a team level.  The goal is to raise $30 per kid, or $10 total??? This will be to replace pit foam.  We are waiting on a Gibson proposal to do the replacement.  The new foam will benefit the whole gymnastics program, not just the team gymnasts.

EAGLES SPRING MEET

In January, we will form a committee to divide up the work, especially for the fundraising that the Booster Club will be responsible for.  The bidding for the EAGLES meet is in February, and after that we will have a better idea as to whether the remodel will interfere with the meet.

MAY PERFORMANCE NIGHT

April is preferred by all to May.  We will decide later on a date, as well as if it will be a 2 or 3 night event.

FUNDRAISING UPDATE

Other fundraising

Lisa Staton will get information on her brother’s fundraiser that we could emulate.

Braids and Cookie Dough

We may do butter braids and Otis Spunkmeyer dough together, possibly Mother’s Day.  We could have April sales, and deliveries in May.  In February, Ginny will recruit a volunteer to get in contact with the vendor.

Poinsettias

Euro trees are in.  On December 6, from 3:30 to 6:30, the poinsettias and bulbs will be available for pickup.  The sales were not strong.  The boys did well, and 14 families participated.  One comment was that people wanted wreaths.  TaTonka has a good name, bigger plants, and less expensive.  Brownie will talk to them tonight about reserving a space for next year.

T-Shirts

T-shirts are available for $10.00

Car-peels

Ginny found vendor for carpeels that say Evergreen Gymnastics.  Cost to us would be $6, and we would sell for $12.  Team and rec gymnasts could buy the decals.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS

Jeff Knetsch

Jeff said that he has received positive feedback on Shana.  Spotting is still a question as far as a coaching need.

Next Meeting

Next meeting is in February.

USAG Banquet

The banquet will be held on May 10th, a Thursday night, at the Evergreen Lakehouse.  Dick Wulff and Pat Callahan have provided the lakehouse at no cost to us for this evening.
