OLD BUSINESS

GOODIE BAGS - EAGLES

Girls USAG are to prepare Goodie Bags for EAGLES by week of 6/14/08 – 23 gymnasts competing - $8 to $10 range.

CAR PEELS

We will reconsider the Car Peels Fundraiser in the Fall.

COOKIE DOUGH

The Cookie Dough Fundraiser is looking very successful. It looks like our profit will be approximately $1,000.

EAGLES MEET – What to Do Better

• Signage/directions to school
• Advertise that there will be a coffee bar
• Have back-up music and National Anthem on tape
• Allocate $500 from this meet’s profit for food for next home meet
• Missing judge – out of our control

EAGLES MEET – What to Keep

• Judge’s Room
• Concessions well stocked
• Coffee Bar – We received 10% of profit

BUDGET

Profit from the Home Meet was $4,900. With the Cookie Dough Fundraiser and the Meet Profit, we have raised approximately $6,000.

NEW BUSINESS

BANQUET

Due to the profit from our fundraisers, ELB will pay for the Gymnastics Banquet – approximately $1,000. The banquet will be for both USAG & Eagles gymnasts and held at the Lakehouse, most likely a weekday in August. Shanna will work on the exact date.

SLEEPOVER

A Gymnastics Sleepover was discussed. Bozzie will work on scheduling this. A tentative date is Friday, August 1^st.

NEWSLETTER

We discussed resurrecting the Gymnastics Newsletter in order to keep families updated and informed.

PERFORMANCE

A gymnastics performance is still being considered. It would be ideal to coordinate this with the High School meet season, so we don’t have to set-up the floor. Shanna will check with Monya regarding this. If not possible, we may be able to do a couple of performances at the gym.

Our next meeting will tentatively be held on August 21, 2008.
